A long-awaited celebration of 200 years of Au Ver à Soie.

In September 2027, we are incredibly proud to be celebrating Deux Siècles de Soie, a very special embroidery retreat celebrating more than 200 years of the iconic French silk house @auverasoie_officiel .
Au Ver à Soie marked its 200th anniversary in 2020, but circumstances meant the occasion could not be celebrated as originally imagined.

Seven years later, this long-awaited celebration will finally take place in the heart of France’s beautiful Loire Valley.

Across seven unforgettable days, guests will enjoy four days of embroidery tuition, with one day spent with each of four internationally renowned tutors:

Together, the tutors are creating one exclusive embroidery design inspired by silk, craftsmanship and the extraordinary 200-year history of Au Ver à Soie.
The week will also include a day discovering the magnificent Château de Chambord, culminating in a celebratory gala dinner, as well as four-star accommodation in one of three carefully selected Loire Valley properties and organised transport throughout the programme.

  • Journées Européennes des Metiers d'Art

    From April 7 to April 12, 2026, I will be honored to exhibit and demonstrate the craft of embroidery at the iconic Château de Chambord.

    During this special event, I will share the art of hand embroidery as a living craft, revealing the gestures, techniques, and patience behind each stitch.

    This demonstration celebrates embroidery as both an artistic and cultural practice, where time slows down and craftsmanship takes center stage.
